GRASS GIS Tutorials - Tutorial 7 - New GRASS LOCATION Using ESPG Code for Spatial Reference System
On This tutorial I will show you how to define/create a new LOCATION with its MAPSET. We will use a ESPG code so define our Spatial Reference System. I will show how start a new project using the sample data provided with the GRASS GIS Installation. (Review tutorial # 1 to find out how to install it)
You will learn how to define a GRASS Database and Location Name.
You will learn how to assign a ESPG projection code.
You will create a user MAPSET on your newly created LOCATION
