MTKClient works by exploiting the BootROM (BROM) mode of MediaTek processors. To make it work on Linux, you need to set up a Python environment and specific USB drivers to ensure the computer can talk to the phone in its "low-level" state.

Before installing the tool itself, you must install these core components:

Clone the Repository:

Install Python Libraries:
This installs necessary modules like pyusb, pyserial, and pycryptodomex.

3. Entering BROM Mode (Connecting the Device)
The tool will only work if the phone is in BROM mode.
Power off the device completely.
Open the tool (e.g., python mtk_gui for the graphical interface).
Hold the Volume Up + Volume Down buttons (on some devices, it's only one of them or a "Test Point").
Connect the USB cable while holding the buttons.
Once the tool detects the device, release the buttons.
