@60.9EdgeDesign The kitchen update focused on increasing storage and counter space without sacrificing the size of the appliances the client wanted in the new design. By removing the half wall between the dining and kitchen and eliminating the kitchen back door, we were able to extend the kitchen and improve the traffic pattern for this family of 5. The depth of the cabinets for the sink wall was extended to add more work surface and a bank of windows above the sink increased natural lighting; a priority for the client. The slab front cabinets provided the easy clean the client wanted while the wood shelving adds a natural element and keeps the kitchen from feeling cold.
