protractor is it has its own locators to identify the elements on the angular based applications. Selenium will not wait to complete the process in angular applications but protractor will do. As protractor supports automatic waits. So, by using protractor we can easily automate the angular based applications. This is one of the biggest advantages when compare to selenium.
