In this video you'll learn how to set up development options onto your device, find your APK file and transfer it to your device which will enable you to test applications on your device. This is proven useful if you have a slow computer aka can't run the Virtual Device Emulator or you prefer seeing the behaviour of the application on a real device, this tutorial will help you with both of these.

~~ What is an APK File? ~~

An APK file is a file format used to distribute and install software on the Android operating system. Downloading the APK allows you to install programs without needing access to Web applications such as Google Play. The installation process most of the time wouldn't necessarily require an internet connection.
