Here a quick demo of a bunch of nodes that I have implemented in Ryven, a python node editor.
Basically visual programming associated with the pythonocc library allows quick development, tests, etc. for example for algorithmic modeling operations.
It's also a great way to learn how the library works and you can add to your Ryven definition any Python library...
If you are interested I invite you to consult the github page of the nodes and help me to convert some of the thousands functions of OpenCascade in nodes to get a full open ;)
