In this tutorial we demonstrate by example how to create a git repository in GitLab and subsequently do a GitLab git clone of it. The GitLab git clone operation pulls all the content from the GitLab repo to the local machine of the user or developer. Once the GitLab repository clone is created, it is then possible for the developer to perform all of the standard Git operations on the locally hosted content.
