Our ROC team in Northern Ireland have organised different school uniform projects over the summer and have recently been featured on the BBC.
Buying uniforms is another cost some families are stuggling with, as the new school term approaches. It's led to a number of uniform banks or exchanges popping up in local communities. Our Education Correspondent Robbie Meredith has been to one in North Belfast:
