In this introductory video I’ll show you how I would manually set up a dropdown and code the opening and closing behavior.
Difficulty: Beginner

[ABOUT THIS SERIES]
The goal of the series is to be able to create a dropdown menu in the unity editor that will allow you to easily edit all its buttons and customize its appearance in one place so you don’t constantly have to be going through the hierarchy finding buttons.

In the second video, we’re going to create a ui utility class with a bunch of static functions that will make it super easy to instantiate (and scale/position) ui elements like buttons and text and so on. We’ll add a menu item to the unity editor that will use the ui utility functions to instantiate a dropdown FOR you (and even create a canvas if one doesn't exist)

In the third video, we’ll be looking at adding and removing children from the dropdown as well as customizing the whole look of the dropdown, children included.
I don’t know how long the series will be, as there are tons of features that can be added.
