This is a free video editing program from Microsoft, and it has more features than Microsoft Movie Maker. The version I am using the the free version, so it does not support MPEG4. This supports AVI, and wmp(Windows Media Player format). If your video capture device, or digital camera uses MPEG4, you have to use a video editor to convert the MPEG4 file into a AVI or a WMP file so this program can read it. If you want to full version, this is not an issue.

You can do everything on this video editor that you can on a Windows Movie Maker, but it allows you to overlay videos. You can add multiple screens onto one screen, and that is a unique feature about this program. There are a lot more features to this program, and you can spend a lot of time on it. If you want to be proficient with this program, you need to read more about it, and watch more detailed tutorials. I am sure they sell books which teach you how to get the most out of this program.
