Caddy is a web server that automatically enables HTTPS for your site, fully manages the certificates for you (including renewals!), and redirects HTTP to HTTPS.

The very first run of Caddy may prompt you for an email address and/or agreement to the CA's legal terms. That only happens once, because the agreement is persisted on disk. This video was recorded after that agreement already happened, so you see it generating a certificate. (Prompts can be bypassed with -email and -agree command line flags.)

Caddy is the only web server with automatic HTTPS enabled by default with no configuration.
