Intent: An intent is used to move/jump one activity to another activity in an application. It is mostly used for star activity, send broadcast receiver, start services & send message between two activities. It can be classified into two i.e. Explicit Intent & Implicit Intent.
1) Implicit Intent - This type of intent is used outside the application i.e. go to the particular address of another application.
2) Explicit Intent - This type of intent is used inside the application to move one activity to another activity of the same Application.
