We demo Create EKS Cluster on AWS. Create EKS Cluster Using AWS Console and EC2 Node Group in my hands on demo.
Also deploy a NGINX Docker image on the cluster. All steps are using the AWS Management Console without installing anything on your local box.

Video Related Commands:
Run the below command to check the AWS identity
aws sts get-caller-identity

Run the following command to update the kubeconfig file for the EKS cluster
aws eks update-kubeconfig --region us-east-1 --name eksDemo

Execute the below command to deploy the Nginx Docker image to the EKS cluster
kubectl apply -f https://gitlab.com/LianDuanTrainingGr...

Run the below command to expose the Nginx deployment as a LoadBalancer service
kubectl expose deployment nginx-deployment --name=nginx-service --port=80 --target-port=80 --type=LoadBalancer

Execute the below command to retrieve information about the Nginx service with LoadBalancer:
kubectl get service nginx-service

Install kubectl

chmod +x ./kubectl
kubectl version --client
The command displays the installed kubectl client version.
