Embedding Objects in Modeling Paste
Demonstration of embedding circular objects (bottle caps, wood pieces, magazine images, and buttons) in modeling paste to create a dimensional painting almost like a mosaic of crushed tile. I mixed blue acrylic paint in modeling paste and used palette knives to create a variety of textures. I also demonstrated adding washes and drying brushing on top of dried modeling paste to build more layers of color.
