Ecologists become more and more aware of the importance of space and scale in ecology. Thus, there are several methods to analyze spatial patterns.
Here, we focus on spatial point pattern analysis. The methods include summary functions, Monte-Carlo simulations of null models and point process models.
We provide videos on basic concepts of spatial point pattern analysis. Invited international guests present research studies applying point pattern analysis. Additionally, we also conducted interviews with the guests about their scientific career and working conditions in general.
