Using Data Attributes in Components - Bricksbuilder
In this video I walk through how to use data attributes with Bricks components to style a card with different color schemes. I compare ID styling and plain CSS styling with data attributes, showing why ID styling does not scale and why CSS with modifiers and components is more manageable. Then I build the best setup using component props and variants, plus ACF fields for dynamic colors from the backend. I also show how slots let you future proof the card by adding extra elements per instance.
