When you're starting out, OOP in Python can be a bit confusing. Classes, objects, instances, and all that terminology can be overwhelming.

I want to introduce classes and objects in the most gentle way possible. In this video we start from zero by defining a totally empty class. The class is a template or blueprint that represents an abstract idea (a car in the case of the video's example).

An example of a class is called an object. In our example, specific cars will be examples or objects of our Car class; it could be my car or your car or anybody's car.

OOP is a really important concept in Python programming and understanding how to use it will help you a lot in your own projects and understanding the work of others too!
