Make life easy and get data from sql server with no code. Yes, just Html5 markup, angular, webapi and sql server. We start by creating a new table (bands). Then we add this to our model and generate a webapi controller for bands. With a little bit of angular magic behind the scenes we only have to reference the table in markup. Angular will fetch the data for us and fire off an event that controllers or other directives subscribe to. All this in under 3 minutes. Further along we introduce oData so that we can sort and filter our data.
