Create Simple Motion Comics Using After Effects
A basic introduction to creating animated motion comics using the basic tools included in After Effects.
This video will show you how to create a great looking animation from a flat 2D image. Instead of using Photoshop I separate the layers using the mask tool, and fill in the background using the clone stamp tool. I also use 3D layers and cameras and a few other tools to make this a simple but effective way to generate some motion from a flat comic panel.
There are so many different ways to do this, so I will definitely need to do a few more videos on motion comics soon!
