You can see all the question is regarding optimize the SQL view query and optimize the speed of SQL function. The similarity of all these questions is that you can actually find the table that you are selecting. For example here from what table you look for the table right from table two, table one also you can look at the table here.
What table are they selecting from all this to speed up and optimize, you can use the Analyze query in Database engine. For example, I have this query so in order to make the query run faster, we must have the correct indexes. So how do you get the correct indexes? It doesn't mean you would tune it correctly but you need time to actually tune it slowly. So you can use a wizard to help you. You can actually go to Analyze Query Wizard.
You can see that I'm using my Northwind database. You can also see from my query that I have order table, I have Employee customer, I have Product and I have Shippers But the option here, normally you have to keep the space big enough. I will just put 100 here. You might want to try out all these options here. So now I can just click start analyze. Analyzer found that you can create indexes to help you speed up your query. So what indexes you need to create, you click here. You can actually copy this to a ticket.
You can then come back to your sql management studio, you paste it in and you run it. Then you actually create an index for you. I hope that will help you to optimize the query that you need.
