*MINECRAFT PYTHON 101* Lesson 10: Creative Coding: COURSE CONCLUSION
► Let’s get started with coding PYTHON 🐍 in 🏫 Minecraft: Education Edition! In Lesson 9 of Python 101: ALL FUN AND GAMES 🕹️ Developing Code and Decomposition, we will go into game development and learn how to 1. Create programs that include sequences, events, loops, and conditionals. 2. Create procedures with parameters to organize code and make it easier to reuse. 3. Decompose (break down) problems into smaller, manageable subproblems to facilitate the program development process.
⚒️ Background
In this Minecraft story 📚, we need to help a software development company called CodingMine 🥼🧪. After our recent lessons and uses for and with the Agent, the company has decided to release it to the public and will need our help to stress-test it a few more times before they officially release it. We will help them use the Agent and go through 10 different challenges.

★ 0:57 🎮 Activity 1: Blinding Lights - Place redstone lamps on the redstone blocks while getting the Agent to the gold block.
★ 2:41 🔥 Activity 2: Row by Row - Get the Agent through all of the rows and to the gold block without making it turn but instead making it move sideways.
★ 4:28 💯 Activity 3: Pumpkin or Melon? - Destroy the melons but don't disturb the pumpkins while getting the Agent to the gold block.
★ 5:54 Activity 4: Diamond Rush - Keep track of the number of diamond blocks the Agent walks on while going to the gold block, then place the exact number of diamond blocks on the piston as those that the Agent walked on.
★ 8:27 Activity 5: What's That Syntax? - Fix the given code to get the Agent to the gold block, then get the syntax blocks from the text and place them on the gold blocks as if the code was there.
★ 11:02 Activity 6: Spring Arrival - Fix the code so that the Agent scans the blocks its walking on and if it's a grass block, make the Agent place a rose on it while also getting to the gold block.
★ 13:10 Activity 7: Depths of the Earth - Mine the diamond block, collect the ore, then go and drop it in the pit (The Agent). Then, do the same for the emerald block that will spawn after the Agent mines the diamond.
★ 14:18 Activity 8: Diamond or Dirt - Solve the math questions using code and if the answer is 1, place a diamond block on the gold blocks, if the answer is 0 place a dirt block. Then get the agent to the end.
★ N/A Activity 9: Do I Need to List it Out? - Rearrange the list in different ways to see which block the agent and and you should stand on *both are different*. CODE IN COMMENTS.
★ 16:42 Activity 10: Agent Labyrinth - Get the Agent through the maze to the gold block. Simple!
🐍 By completing this lesson, we learn:
► How to use simple functions.
► Coding Concepts: Decomposition - Adding to relative positions.
► Syntax/Operators: Parentheses, quotations, columns, etc. (Formatting)
► Evaluating Math: Using player.say() to solve what looks like complicated expressions.
