openFrameworks C++ creative coding superBasics tutorials. In this video we dive in 3D exploring how easy it is to make three dimensional art works in openFrameworks. I walk through the use of 3D primitive shapes using ofBoxPrimitive and the 3D viewer ofEasyCam and manipulate them using color, position and size and make a constantly changing interactive generative 3D scene. I also give a brief explanation of just what ofEnableDepthTest() actually does.

see the next video in the series here    • Build 3D meshes with Perlin noise - tutori...

you can also see a version where I change the boxes to sphere primitives and wrap them with eye images as live textures to turn them into creepy looking eyeballs    • Make generative creepy 3D eyeball clouds -...

You can see even more about getting started in superBasics in the openFrameworks (https://openframeworks.cc) C++ based creative coding toolkit - for mac, windows, linux and raspberryPi.

Each video builds simple ideas and examples exploring making visuals, video, audio, 3D, physical computing and more.
