Calculus can be a tough course to pass. I'm here to help! This lesson is about additional examples of optimization problems, one of the most fundamental applications of the derivative. To solve these problems, always find one less constraint than the number of variables used in order to rewrite the function you are trying to optimize in one variable. If you can master this portion, taking the derivative and setting it equal to zero is the same as what we have done in previous videos.
