Python string Replacement using pattern
In this video, we have explained string replacement in python. Any string data can be replaced with another string in Python by using the replace() method. But if you want to replace any part of the string by matching a specific pattern then you have to use a regular expression. It is used to search a specific pattern in a particular string value and the string will be replaced with another string if any match found. Python uses ‘re’ module to use regular expression pattern in the script for searching or matching or replacing. sub() method of ‘re’ module is used in Python for the string replacement. We have explained the regular expressions and the string replacement in python in detail by examples.
