The basic building blocks of Silverstack's library are projects, bins and folders. With them you can create a custom folder structure to store your clips and documents.
You can add information like the Producer, the Director or a production logo in your project overview tab.
Folders are used to create logical project structures like shooting days. A folder can contain bins and other folders. Clips have to be always in a bin.
A bin is the smallest container unit in Silverstack. It contains all your clips and documents. You can switch the asset button view to hide or show side car documents.
Additionally there's an element called "Smart Folders", which describes a folder with integrated filtering function. Using smart folders you can filter clips with a certain attribute very easily.
For example, it's possible to create a folder with all the clips shot at twenty five frames per second.
Silverstack lets you modify or add metadata to your clips. Whenever you see the small pencil icon you will be able to modify the metadata values. It is also possible to flags, ratings, comments
and labels that will be helpful in the editing and post production process.
All the assets registered and their metadata will be stored in the project library. This way you will be able to access to all this information efficiently.
