SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is used to send emails from local machines without the help of Browser and GUI. Some of the attacks like Key Loggers usually sends logged data to Mails or Servers.
Here in this video, I am showing you a scenario where we can track the ports and keep logging the contents sent from those ports.
