This video gives the detailed explanation of Top command in Linux! This is used to display the Linux processes, which gives a real time view of running system!
This video will cover:
how to run a top command
To exit/stop/quit top command press q
Upper Half Section Displays:

1) Current time, Up time, Active Users, Load Average
2) Task Section: Total, running, sleeping, Zombie process
3) %CPU section : us (User space), sy(Kernel Space), ni (Nice value), id (idle time), wa(waiting time), hi(Hardware interrupt), si(software interrupt), st(Steal time)
4) Memory section: RAM & Swap space : total, free, used and available memory
Lower Half section Displays:
PID : unique process id
User

PR : priority of task
NI : Nice value
VIRT : virtual memory
RES: memory consumed by RAM same as %MEM
SHR : Amount of shared memory
S : Process states: running, idle, sleeping, stopped, zombie
%CPU: CPU usage same as TIME+
Command : Name of Process
Multiple options available in Top command:
Press Z : Highlight the running process
Press c : Gives path of running command
Press d : changes the default refresh rate
Press k : Kills a process
Press Shift + P : sort the process by CPU utilization
Press H : displays threads

Press V : gives child-parent structure
