It allows to find similar words, or words with typos.
Nice Python built-in library introduced in Python 2.1.

In the video, at instant 07:10, it doesn't work when I try the import from Python 2.7 CLI, that was caused by me having in that folder a filename with the reserved name keyword.py from tests for breaking things from another day.
As I opened python2 from a clean directory all worked as it works in Python 3.
