Lesson Description:
We learn about HTML Tags.
Terminology:
Tag - Markup symbols used to create an HTML Element. Typically they come in pairs, with the first tag known as the "opening tag" and the second tag known as the "closing tag". Opening tags contain a "left arrow" character, followed by the element name, and finally a "right arrow" character. Similarly, closing tags contain a "left arrow" followed by a "/" character, followed by the element name, and finally a "right arrow" character. Occasionally, some elements consist of only a single tag, and we will learn about those types of elements in the next lesson.
