Start with a brand new Windows installation on a Virtual Machine. Install (download and unzip) Eclipse Photon, and see what happens when there is not a Java SDK installed. Install Java SDK, and restart Eclipse. Write a simple HelloWorld Java program. Compile and run (execute) the Java program, to verify the installation of Eclipse and Java SDK on this machine.
