Our simulator project is designed to provide a hands-on understanding of how CPU Scheduling algorithms work in managing processes within an operating system. In this video, you'll gain insights into the practical applications of three key algorithms: First-Come, First-Served (FCFS), Shortest Job Next (SJN), and Round Robin (RR).
The simulator shows four Quality of Service (QoS) parameters: Average Waiting Time, Average Turnaround Time, Average Response Time, and Throughput. It compares the performance of these algorithms with graphs illustrating these four parameters.
Watch till the end to:
Observe the real-time scheduling of processes.
Understand the strengths and limitations of each algorithm.
Thank you for watching!
