In the previous MSSQL session, we discussed alias, why we perform, and what is the end result of an alias. As we know that SQL statements help a user to retrieve, update, delete, add data in a table. The relational database management system also has some functions so that the user can perform the task smartly and easily.
MySQL has a dateadd() function that return date when a user adds date interval in the parameters. It has three parameters interval, numbers, and date. Interval can be a year, day, month or an hour. The number contains a numeric value that needs to be added in a date, and the date shows any operation over it.

In this video, an example shows that according to an interval if a user adds any number, to a particular date then it will return a modified date. This modified date is an operation limit or any information till that date. The date should always be in integer.
Moreover, there are various other small functionalities in dateadd() function like, along with a number if the user adds minus (-) sign then past operations can be seen, the user can also change micro, milliseconds.
