Offset is a useful command in AutoCAD. When we have number of linear entities we want to offset it’s convenient though we can select multiple entities. With the ‘Offset Inside Random’ command we can do just that. The command choose a random distance though. With the ‘Min & max’ method we can set a minimum and maximum between which the command will pick a value, with the ‘List’ method we can set a number of values from which the command will choose a value. The command can place the new entities on a layer we choose. By default the command will chooses a random distance with each offset. The command can however also pick a random value and apply it to all offsets with the equal offset option. With the Erase option the command will erase the original selected entities.
