HTML table captions are simply applied by adding the caption tag as the very first entry after the opening table tag. This means it's before any tr tag, th tag or td tag. By default the table caption is applied above the table and is centered. You can use the simple CSS properties text-align and caption-side to left-align the caption and move it below the table.
