To be more efficient you have to automate things that are repetitive at work.
For me, I used a combination of powershell and bash to automate builds and testing work microservices projects, backing up databases and automation for setting up my work environment, this is separate from the Devops pipelines. This is to automate your personal workspace for developing features and debugging, especially if you work on a complex Enterprise Software with microservice architecture.
