Hello guys, in this video I will teach you guys how to download and install NetBeans IDE inside your Linux. I am using "Kali 2.0 Sana" for this video series. For those who are curious, I'm not using VM Ware or other virtual box, I setup my Linux with Dual-Booting System.

IDE - https://netbeans.org/downloads/

JDK if required - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/jav...

Type "java -version" without quotation in your terminal to check your current java version. If it says not found or something, then you download the JDK. Else, everything should work fine.

I'm continuing this video considering you guys know the very basic of Linux(in terminology and other basic stuff), and have done the sudo apt-get update && apt-get upgrade && apt-get dist-upgrade for personal use.

Command line for terminal:

$ chmod +x filename.sh - Press enter
$ sh filename.sh

After finished Installation, your "shortcut" will appear on your desktop.

You might need "sudo" for elevated priviledge. Change filename with your Netbeans filename, example "netbeans-8.0.1.sh" something depending on your download version.

If you guys have anything, please ask and comment. Subscribe also for more programming and other videos. Cheers!
