whenever you have fixed no of objects at that time you can use enum.
For Example
Number of Days - 7
Number of Months - 12

enum may have constructor
enum may have methods
name() - It returns name of instance
values() - It returns array of all the instance available in enum
ordinal() - It returns the position of instance. Index startwith 0.
