To access intelligent provisioning and the smart storage administrator you can either hit f10 and the BIOS boot or you
can hit f9 and go to embedded applications and select intelligent
provisioning from your menu. Click enter to launch intelligent provisioning. Depending on what you're going to be doing you can either go into intelligent provisioning or smart storage
administrator. In our case we're going to go in intelligent provisioning.
Once the system is done initializing the network and communicating with ILO we're going to accept terms and hit next. We want to activate intelligent provisioning so they continue. We're going to register later for the inside remote support to add an existing drive to your current
array go to perform maintenance, find your smart storage administrator, select the controller click and figure
here on the left hand side. You're going to go to your logical devices select the array that you're going to add the existing drive to I'm going to manage data drives make sure you're adding a drive to expand the array and select the physical drive, hit ok to continue and finish to complete the task go ahead and close out of the application.
