In this 2nd video of my "Node JS Performance Optimizations" series, I show you how to use the "Async Hooks" module to monitor for asynchronous transactions that occur in your application. Through a series of live demonstrations, you quickly learn how easy it is to monitor for async functions as well as identify when they occur during an Event Loop cycle.

Testing for Async Functions in NodeJS is a great practice that provides transparency on how synchronous your code is vs how much work the Event Loop has.
