In this tutorial ,We will learn to Configure and Build Cross Platform tkinter (ttkbootstrap) radial meter widgets using Python.
The meter gauge GUI widget is created using the ttkbootstrap.widgets.Meter () class and dynamically programmed using Python language.
We will learn to solve the⚠️ "img.resize((self._metersize, self._metersize), Image.CUBIC)
AttributeError: module 'PIL.Image' has no attribute 'CUBIC'" error ⚠️ that you experience when building apps using the ttkbootstrap.widgets.Meter () class.
We will also teach you to dynamically control and display values in real time on the meter widget using the step() method, meter.configure() method etc

Description
In this video, you’ll learn how to create a modern analog meter (gauge) widget using Tkinter, ttkbootstrap, and Python. We’ll start by building a radial analog meter from scratch using simple steps, and you’ll see how easy it is to make your own custom GUI component.
We also show how to control the meter’s value in real time using the step() method to increase or decrease the dial, and the set() method to directly assign a value.
You’ll also build a simple app where the meter dial updates dynamically when you press a button—great for interactive dashboards and real-time data displays.
Finally, we cover the configure() method, which lets you easily change the meter’s options (like colors, values, and text) at any time after it's created. This makes it super flexible for real-world applications.
