In this video, we set up our local development environment and build the professional project structure that will power our WebGIS application.

This is the foundation phase before connecting to Google Earth Engine and cloud deployment.

💻 Quick Setup Commands

Use these commands in your terminal:

Check Python Version
python --version

Install Required libraries
pip install earthengine-api flask

The project folder should look like this:

webGIS-app/
├── app.py
├── config.py
├── requirements.txt
└── venv/
