Countdown Timer (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
Hi family, this is a simple web application that depicts a countdown timer using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript taking into cognizance leap years.
The countdown timer by default on page loading, starts counting from the next Christmas date to the present/current date.
When a valid, future date is selected by the user, the countdown starts counting from the selected date to the present/current date.
If an invalid date is selected, or the date selected is from the past, the timer is set to the next Christmas and the countdown starts counting down from there.
It is highly responsive: refactoring and improvement to this little project is welcomed.
