Date objects in JavaScript - Basic JavaScript Fast (38) | Date.now, Date.parse
Let's learn the handling of dates in JavaScript. First we obtain the current time using Date.now() method. Then we learn the concept of timestamps that can help us set the time. We will also learn the date string approach that can set the time for us. We can get the components of a date from a date string using the get methods. We will also learn the way to set up our user-defined time, using the Date constructor, Date.parse() method and other set methods. Finally, we will see that the date can correct itself if we input some invalid values.
