The Synchronization API: Chapter 1, Introduction
The Synchronization API is used to port engineering data from design applications—like MicroStation and Revit—into digital twins (using iModels). An iModel is a specialized information container for exchanging data associated with infrastructure assets. iModels are an important component for creating a digital twin—an iTwin—of an infrastructure asset.
