All php scripts protected through the enscrypt.io protection tool have 2 basic security features applied to them.
One is the script name preservation feature: This feature ensure the name given to a script at the time it was protected is the name it will continue to have during its life time. Which means, if a user tries to duplicate the protected script under a different name, the script will not work. This is especially useful for a variety of reasons. You may want to give your scripts names unique to your company and ensure that name will remain the same forever.
Second feature is the Tamper Resistance feature: This feature ensures after a script is protected and secured using the enScrypt.io Tool, it can NOT be modified under any circumstance. What that means is, whenever a user attempts to make any change to your protected php code, no matter how tiny the change is, protected code will immediately stop functioning.
In this video, we encrypt a script twice. First, with the copyguard protection turned off. Then we tested it to confirm it behaves as expected. Second encryption is done with the copyguard protection turned on. Likewise, after the encryption process completes, we test the freshly encrypted script and confirm it behaves as configured.
