This is a two part video.
First, I explain what Docker is and why its useful.
Next, we dive into a hands-on beginner tutorial where I show how to containerise a Python FastApi app using Docker.

Docker is an open-source platform that allows us to to automate deployments by packaging applications so that they can be run efficiently in different environments. Code and everything it needs to run (its dependencies) get bundled together in a Docker image. The image is run as something called a Docker container.
