People with no coding experience are shipping apps to the App Store and Play Store that used to need a full agency. In this video I build a complete workout tracker app live, start to finish, using only Claude Code and Expo. No Xcode. No Android Studio. One codebase that runs on both iPhone and Android, tested live on my phone while I build it.

You'll watch the entire process: installing Claude Code, setting up Node.js, spinning up an Expo React Native project, writing a PRD with an AI skill that grills you on your product idea before you build, and then letting Claude Code build the whole app from that PRD. I also show how I test on a real phone with Expo Go, how I give feedback to fix bugs (a misaligned close icon, a missing heatmap gradient), and how you'd take this same app all the way to the App Store and Play Store.

💡 KEY LESSONS FROM THE BUILD

Don't build from a vague idea. Use a skill that interrogates your product first, then save the output as a PRD.
Your context window is not infinite. Roughly the first 100-120k tokens produce good output. Save the PRD, clear the session, build fresh.
For production apps, break the PRD into smaller features and build them one at a time.
Give design references (Pinterest works) if you want a specific look. No references means default UI.
Report bugs in plain English. "The cross icon is not centered" is a valid bug report now.

This is for founders, indie hackers, product managers, and anyone who has an app idea but no development team. If you can describe what you want, you can ship it.

👍 If this helped, like the video and subscribe. Hit the bell so you don't miss the next build.
