Sci-Fi Ship Controller is a great tool to help kick-start game development with Unity. Camera Dynamic Target Offset damping allows you to adjust the position of the camera relative to the ship in real-time.

The included Ship Camera Module is highly configurable and can cater for many different game experiences including in-cockpit views.
