Tutorial 3: How to Code Digital Art in JavaScript | CODE Along with Black Girls CODE
This CODE Along episode will teach you more about how art can be a powerful tool for activism. For example, do you know how artists of color use their art to share important messages with the world? You’ll learn how to use the XY tool in p5.js to find the exact coordinates of an object or an area where you want to place an object. You’ll also score some more advanced coding skills, like how to code 2D shapes like quads and arcs. By the end of this episode, you’ll be well on your way building a powerful art piece with meaning.
