Linux Kernel and Device driver

Interrupt handling is an important aspect of the Linux kernel's design. Interrupts are signals sent by hardware devices to the CPU, indicating that some event has occurred that requires the CPU's attention. Interrupt handling in the kernel involves a series of steps, including identifying the source of the interrupt, acknowledging the interrupt, and servicing the interrupt.
One of the key advantages of Linux as an operating system is its ability to support a wide range of hardware devices. This is made possible by the kernel's flexible and extensible design, which allows device drivers to be loaded dynamically at runtime. However, this flexibility also means that device drivers must be carefully written to ensure that they handle interrupts correctly, or risk causing system crashes and other problems.

By taking a Linux device driver online course, kernel developers can learn the skills they need to write robust and reliable device drivers that work seamlessly with the Linux kernel. They can also learn about the latest best practices and techniques for developing device drivers that take full advantage of the kernel's capabilities.

This course teaches you how to develop or improve device drivers in the Linux kernel, for projects on embedded platforms, or on the traditional PC platform. In no time, through theory and practical , the course makes you familiar with the essentials of kernel development: kernel architecture, the main APIs, integration of device drivers with other parts of the kernel and with user applications.
